We’ve been hard at work developing new features for Kindara on iOS. In version 6.0.0, available here, you’ll notice features that allow you to have more control and customization of your fertility charting experience. Read on to learn more about version 6.0.0 and some of the changes we’ve made to help you chart your fertility journey.
The ability to exclude cycles from prediction data:
The Kindara prediction feature works by looking at your past data including cycle lengths, temperature shifts, and length of menstruation. However, there are countless factors that might cause cycles to deviate from “normal”. You can toggle “exclude data” on for any cycle to make sure that postpartum cycle or the long cycle right after you got off hormonal birth control doesn’t count toward your future predictions.
Name your cycles:
There are milestones in your fertility journey that deserve more than a cycle number. Maybe it’s an IVF cycle or miscarriage. Kindara now allows you to name your cycles so they are more meaningful to you and reflect your life that cycle.
There are a couple scenarios that weren’t quite captured by protected and unprotected sex, which is why we added insemination and withdrawal. Read more about them here.
Complete with sex icons and an at-a-glance summary to let you know more about your upcoming cycle milestones, the calendar has been refreshed.
- Keypad entry instead of wheel for temperature
- Changes to the color scheme and layout
