If you notice a drop in temperature right before your period should arrive should the temperature be under the coverline or close to it? I haven't had any pms symptoms yet this cycle and my period is due in about a day. My temperatures are still fairly high above my coverline. Any insight on this would be great, this is learning experience ;)

Hey Cara, Experiencing a drop in temperature a day or two before your period begins is normal, whether your temp is close to the coverline or under it. The drop is likely due to the disintegration of the corpus luteum (what's left of the follicle that housed the egg that was released at ovulation). If you haven't had any menstruation yet, this is still considered part of the luteal phase of your current cycle.

Is there a way to place a cover line on your chart within the app?

    Hey Blane,

We don't currently have a coverline feature in the app, but we're working on adding it to a future version :) In the meantime, you can view and set a coverline at our user web portal. To view/set your coverline, log in to the portal with the email and password you used to create your Kindara account, then go to the 'Charts' tab. If you've entered enough temperatures and there's a clear shift, the app will automatically set a coverline for you. If you'd like to manually set the coverline, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the 'edit' button next to Coverline.

I hope this meets your needs for now! Like I said, we're working on adding coverline to the app soon :)

Hi Danielle, thanks for contacting us!  Unfortunately coverline isn't available in the app yet, but this is very high on our list of priorities and we plan on adding it soon :)  If you have any other suggestions or questions, feel free to ask!
