Trying (and failing!) to work out my cycle following a missed miscarriage at 12+1 - had a natural but incomplete mc, followed by unsuccessful medical management a week later and an ERPC a week after that. Had 2 days of light bleeding 2 weeks after finally stopped bleeding post ERPC (last weekend) but think it was old blood, rather than new cycle. My temps are in a range of about .5C on a day to day basis (taken at same time) and all are und

I'm sorry to hear that you miscarried. Stay positive and try to relax. I've never been pregnant and my husband and I just started trying. Prayerfully for all of us trying we have great news soon to share with one another.

Why can't we re-share our charts so that they appear at the top of the list again? I don't know what to make of a recent temp and I'd like more people to look at it, but I haven't gotten a new comment in days!

Have you tried 'unsharing' the original chart and then sharing it again with the more up to date info?

  • Avatar
    d.w.j.kayes

Yeah, it just posted it back to the original date, not at the top.

How do you search for keywords. I tried BFP and other acronyms but not successful. Thanks!

I only see the kindara community on the mobile app and not on desktop. I think it will be much more helpful to see a desktop sharing and comments. Am i missing something or is it only available on mobile ?

Hi ladies! I just joined today, read as much as I could & entered as much data as possible. Pardon my ignorance but I can't figure this out. my CM was wet June 5-6. I got a hormonal migraine on June 14 and I'm bloated and fatigued/edgy/cranky June 13-15. My understanding is that I'm ovulating during June 13-15? Can I try to pregnant during this time or did I miss my window? Thanks ladies !

Hi everyone! To respond to your comments:

-Right now, it's not possible to re-share a chart to the feed. We're working on adding smaller groups and other options to make updated charts more visible. So, please stay tuned for that! Commenting on your chart will send a notification to anyone who's following your chart - so you may want to try that.

-As for the keywords, we're working on making the search engine less sensitive - but for now, you may want to try entering a keyword in all lowercase letters rather than caps.

-We don't currently have a desktop version of the Community, but this is something we plan to add in the future! Right now, it's only available on mobile.

kellyfield1 - Have you been tracking your basal temperatures? We find basal temps to be a much more accurate indicator of ovulation than ovulation tests. OPKs can tell you when ovulation may be approaching, but they don't tell you whether ovulation actually occurred. I recommend tracking your temps to see if you notice a sustained temp shift (which would confirm ovulation).

sonia.camarda - Without looking at your charts, it's hard to say exactly when you were fertile this cycle. However, the best time to try to get pregnant is just before ovulation, when fertile (i.e. eggwhite or watery) cervical fluid is present. So if you're noticing wet, fertile cervical fluid, but HAVEN'T yet noticed a temperature shift this cycle, then this is a great time to have sex! Once you've noticed a sustained temperature shift, it's likely too late to try until your next cycle.

Hello I just got this app as I have been using I period and am not to happy with it. I am wanting to use this app to conceive. I have almost a year of tracked periods from my other app. Is there any way I can add my previous info into this app?

    Hey there,

I'm sorry to hear you're not happy with the app! If you have any specific feedback for us, please let us know at feedback@kindara.com, so we can build an app you'll love :) As for your data, it depends on which app you were using. Right now, we support imports from Fertility Friend, OvuView, Pink Pad, iPeriod, Period Tracker, and Menstrual Calendar. For more information about importing data from other apps, please read this article.

High temps during period and after? Pregnancy test was negative. What's the deal? Just started chatting for last three days. Temps have averaged around 98.4. Thoughts? Is it normal they are so high?

    Charting, not chatting.

lilblueblue - Yay! Congrats on starting your journey towards conception. Posting your chart with questions in the Community or commenting on other people's charts is a good way to get feedback. And of course, you can always write us at feedback@kindara.com if there's anything we can do to help.

Jana - First, make sure you're taking your temperature as SOON as you wake up - I know it can be hard, but even laying in bed awake for a few minutes before you take your temp can make it higher than normal. Also, are you getting at least 3 consecutive hours of sleep before you take your temp?

However, if you are doing all of these things, and your temps are still high, know that it's not uncommon to have high temperatures during your period. Keep an eye on them to see if they drop in the next few days.

Why don't I see my chart in the community

I do love the kindara app as it is helping me at least see a pattern or allowing me to keep a diary of my bodily functions and ovulatory pain and bleeds. I salute this site . X

It would be great if the community had a desktop version. Meanwhile when viewing Followed posts on the App it would be nice to see comments already drilled down, rather than having to select each item you are following or have commented on, in order to see new posts/replies. A bit cumbersome currently. Other that more integration with a desktop app, enjoying Kindara.

Hi I am new to using this app. I am 28 and have a beautiful 3 year old daughter. We have been trying to concieve our second child for 18 months. I am just getting past my second miscarriage. Hoping that 3rd times a charm.

at28 and a_trep - you can change your average cycle length at any time during the first three cycles that you're using Kindara at our user web portal. Log in to the portal with the email and password you used to create your Kindara account, then under the Account tab click 'Edit details'. This will allow you to change the average cycle length.

fryer77 - Have you by chance already shared your chart to the Community? If so, it's not currently possible to re-post charts to the Community. Sorry about that! However, if you comment on the chart you already shared (you can view your shared charts by going to the Community, tapping 'My Charts in the upper right hand corner of the screen, then tapping 'Shared'), anyone who has followed or commented on your chart will receive a notification - so you may be able to get some feedback that way.

jaynie7 - thanks so much for your feedback! I agree that a desktop version of the Community would be awesome :) I'll talk to the developers about making this happen in the future. Also, I see what you mean about the comments. Again, I'll talk to the rest of the team about this.

klynn - wishing you the best of luck! If there's anything we can help you with, let us know at feedback@kindara.com.
