A few users have reported that after downloading the latest version of the app (v4.2), their data disappeared. If this happens to you, we're so sorry! We're working on getting to the bottom of this issue, but in the meantime, here's how to get your data back:
Step 1. Log in to our user web portal (http://app.kindara.com/) and make sure all of your data is still there. If everything looks good, move to step 2. If not, email us at email@example.com and we'll look into it right away.
Step 2. Send us your local database so that we have a copy of any data that is stored locally on your device. To do this, tap the More screen, then tap Settings. At the top of the screen, you will see your email address displayed above the row that says Goal. Hold down your finger on your email address. After a few seconds, you'll see a popup that asks, "Send Database?" Tap Yes. This sends us a copy of everything saved on your phone so we have a backup in case something goes wrong.
Step 3. If everything looked good in Step 1, shut down the app on your phone and re-open it. To do this, double tap the "Home" button on your device. This will bring up a list of apps that are currently running on your phone. Scroll to Kindara and hold down your finger on the rectangular preview of the app just above its icon, and swipe upwards (it will disappear off the screen.) Then re-open the app by tapping on its icon as normal.
If step 3 doesn't restore your data, log out and then log back in through the Settings screen, being sure to use the same username and password associated with your account.
If the issue still persists, please log out of Kindara, delete the app from your phone, re-download the app, and then log back in.
