Hi Glenda, Sorry to hear about the problems you've been experiencing! Can you please email us at feedback@kindara.com with the email address you used to create your Kindara account? Once you do that, we'll look into this right away.

When I first got the app it had me input how many days a typical cycle is. It has changed, but I don't see where to change this info.

Where do you change how long a typical cycle is? Mine is never the same

Hi bethanyjanae and jkwel1984, you can change your average cycle length by logging in to our user web portal (https://app.kindara.com/) with the email and password you used to create your Kindara account, then clicking the 'edit details' button under the Account tab. As you continue to use Kindara, the app will calculate your average cycle length based on the data you've entered, rather than the average cycle length you entered at the beginning. So the more you use the app, the more accurate it will be :)

I just started tracking on the 13th and won't start my first cycle until the 16th but it's automatically putting the 10th as my cycle start date and I'm not sure why. Is there any way to edit or delete that?

    Hi there,

Hm, did you record ANY data in the app prior to April 13? This includes not just temperature and cervical fluid data but also sex, custom data, and notes. If so, that's probably why the chart starts early.

If this doesn't answer the question, please email us at feedback@kindara.com and we'll look into it right away.

I understand that brown spotting is from the previous cycle. Sometimes I get red spotting, but there is no option for spotting to be the first day of my period in this case.

Hey Kelly! Actually, you can now choose to manually start new cycles in the app. To turn the manual option on , go to the app's Settings and tap the slider next to 'Start New Cycles Manually'. Then, you'll see a new row in the Menstruation section of the Data screen that says 'Start New Cycle Today?' Tap the checkbox next to this row on the first day of your cycle to start a new cycle in the app.

Hi Christian, I'm so sorry about the trouble with the app!  I'm happy to help you fix your cycles.

By default, Kindara automatically starts a new cycle when you enter menstruation data for the first time as long as the current cycle is at least 10 days long. To change the start day of your cycle, navigate to the first day of the cycle you wish to merge with the previous one either by swiping to the left in the data screen or by tapping and holding on that day in the chart screen and selecting "edit." Then, tap the amount of menstruation you have entered (Light, Medium, Heavy) to deselect it. This should merge that cycle with the previous one.

Or, if you prefer, you can also manually set the start dates of your cycles. To do this, tap the More screen, then Settings, and find the row that says "Start New Cycles Manually." Slide the toggle to the right to turn it on.

If you turn this option on, you'll see a row under the menstruation section of the data screen that says "Start New Cycle Today?" Tap the check-box in this row and Kindara will set that day to Day 1 of your cycle. You can also tap the check-box again to remove it and continue charting in the previous cycle.

I hope this helps! Feel free to let me know if you have any more questions or comments :)

My "wrong" day doesn't show anything I've never had this issue before... My app crashes too whenever I go to save my new period data.

I'm having an issue where I unselected the day that was wrong and it still won't merge my cycles. Now I have Cycle 17 open but cycle 18 is blank and won't go away.

I've had the same thing happen as Christian. I accidentally selected "start new cycle", then deselected iy and it seemed to be OK but now it's started a new cycle and I can't see how to change it back. Please help!

I marked the wrong day as the first day of my cycle and followed the above directions but in my list of cycles it still lists the wrong day cycle and won't calculate the days for my new cycle. Please help!

    Hi there!

I'm also a newbie and am getting off the pill after 12 years. Kindara has been praised by many online so I got it too :) unfortunately it is very hard for me to understand. ..I wanted to enter the start of my next cycle (last period before a pill free life) but it won't let me do anything in the calendar. I went into settings and followed all instructions of setting it to manual, but if I click on a date in the calendar nothing happens. I don't know how to get to the page where you can chose menstruation, like depicted above. Is the app just not working on android or am I doing something wrong?

I have done the same. I changed my start date but now I have an extra cycle that is only 2 days long. How do I get rid of that and have it added to another cycle??

Hello, I just gave birth to my baby April 17th and I'm not sure if I am supposed to have that be the start of my new cycle or not?
