What is considered the "first day" of your period? The first evidence of spotting? I am brand new at charting. I started four days ago when I had my IUD removed. Using FAM to avoid pregnancy for now.

I entered wrong date when first signing in and now I can correct it. How do I reset data and start over?

Hi blgregory, you can change the first day of your cycle by going to the correct first day of your period in the data screen, scrolling down to where it says Menstruation and selecting the checkbox next to 'Start New Cycle Today?' there. Then, go to the wrong day that you've incorrectly marked as your first day and select the same checkbox next to 'Start new Cycle Today?' there.

If you need help getting to the correct day, there are two ways to do this:

    1) Tap the day you want to edit in the calendar view.

    2) Swipe horizontally between days in the data screen.

I hope this is helpful! Please let me know if you have more questions.

Hi been937, you can change your average cycle length by logging in to our user web portal (http://app.kindara.com/) with the email and password you used to create your Kindara account, going to the 'Account' tab, then clicking the 'edit details' button there. Just so you know, as you continue to use Kindara, the app will calculate your average cycle length based on the data you've entered, rather than the average cycle length you entered at the beginning. So the more you use Kindara, the more accurate it will be :)
