I had my baby a few months ago and I'm ready to start tracking my CM again to see if I can tell if I'm ovulating, even without a period. The app starts a new cycles when you start your period though. How can I stop the "Pregnancy" cycle that is still active and start a new cycle?

If you have a pregnancy, how do you end one cycle and begin another (if you want to keep track of your signs before your first period postpartum)? Right now, it looks like my last cycle is going to be several hundred days long, when really I was pregnant! :-)

    Hi Apukstas,

You can choose to start a new cycle manually by going into the Settings of the app and selecting "Set New Cycles Manually."  Then, within the data screen, you can choose the day you would like to start your new cycle so you can start charting again.  Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Hi fg_sh,

Currently we don't have that functionality in the app, but we recently added it to our admin portal.  So if you write into Feedback@kindara.com, I can delete a cycle for you, just tell me which one!  Thanks.

Can you add an end of cycle day for example period started 20/7 and finished 26/7?

I'm not sure how long my cycles are hence using this app thanks

Hi Lauren, thanks for contacting us! There's nothing special you have to do to let the app know your period has ended - simply stop entering menstruation data when your period is over and the app will automatically know that your period has ended.  You can also edit your previous periods by adding or removing menstruation data on past days (simply swipe left on the data screen to go back days).  Let me know if there's anything else I can help with.

It's automatically saying my periods are only 3 days long but they're 6. How do I change it so that it will automatically predict 6 days and not 3?

Hi Brandy, thanks for contacting us! Kindara will predict a 3 day period by default, but after one cycle Kindara quickly learns your patterns and will adjust its predictions based on the data you've entered.  You can also adjust your first period (the one the app enters by default when you sign up) to be longer if you prefer.  To do this, simply go to Day 4, 5, and 6 of your cycle and add menstruation data for that day.

A special tip for editing your past data is to hold your finger on past days on the Chart screen.  You'll have the option to edit your data from there. I hope that helps!
